Protect and Create Jobs

               Jobs are created when businesses are allowed to operate without unrealistic rules and regulations.  Small businesses in particular can't continue to be on the receiving end of mandates and taxes that stiffle their ability to earn a fair profit, and in the process provide much needed jobs.

          Balance the State Budget Without Raising Taxes

                It all begins with the priority of government.  We currently have a system inflated with programs which are not necessary to the basic functioning of government.  We must certainly fund those areas directed by our constitution.....education, public safety, and the care of the vulnerable and elderly who can't care for themselves.  All else must be subjected to scrutiny.  Relooking the priorities of government will allow us to use funds more efficiently and realistically.  We don't have an income problem in the state -- we have a spending problem.  IT CAN BE FIXED.
